It's good to talk money
We’ve supported #TalkMoneyWeek which took place in November. The week helped to get us talking more about the pennies in our pocket and our thoughts and feelings around money, which is particularly important at this time of year.
It’s also a chance to remind you that we are here to help if and when you need it.
Talking about money with anyone, whether that’s friends or family or experts if necessary, can help you feel more confident in managing your money.
This year’s campaign encouraged people to ‘Do One Thing’ that could help improve their financial wellbeing.
It could be as simple as checking the address of a pension, talking to a child about pocket money or using our Money Advice Tool.
We also partner with other organisations we can put you in touch with such as Pocket Power, an organisation which specialises in saving people money on their household bills.
We recently referred a customer who was then supported by Pocket Power to switch their broadband tariff, which reduced their monthly bill by £18. They also supported the customer to switch her energy tariff which saved her a further £19 a month, with a total saving of £372 a year!
