Generous toolbox donation gives Aster apprentices a welcome career boost

Our apprentices have received a significant career boost thanks to £250 worth of bespoke tools and a branded toolbox gifted by Jewson Partnership Solutions.

The four apprentices – Apprentice Painter and Decorator Siobhan Clements (aged 21), Electrical Apprentice Jacob Tilleard (aged 20) and Apprentice Gas Engineers Riley Dunne (aged 18) and Tyler Fairclough (aged 16) each received a selection of new tools of their choice and a toolbox to help equip them as they embark on their new careers.

Having the right tools for the job is key to the success of any tradesperson.

Since the Apprenticeship Levy’s introduction in 2017, we've supported over 300 colleagues, either by employing new apprentices into the business or upskilling its current team via Levy funding.

Jess Scull, Apprenticeship and Early Careers Lead, said: “This donation will have a lasting impact on our apprentices, empowering them to achieve excellence in their trades.”
