Green Employment Pathway now open for BCP referrals!
Aster Group is excited to support the launch of the Green Employment Pathway, an initiative led by SNG in partnership with HACT and funded by JP Morgan. This programme is designed to help individuals in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) access employment and training opportunities in the rapidly growing green sector.
With the UK’s green economy projected to grow significantly - creating an estimated 2 million green jobs by 2030 - this initiative aims to connect local people with meaningful careers in sustainability, renewable energy, and environmental management.
What the Green Employment Pathway Offers:
- Green Skills Information sessions – Learn about career opportunities in the green sector.
- Funded Green Skills training – Gain essential knowledge and qualifications.
- One-to-one coaching – Get tailored employment support and guidance.
- Bespoke employability support – CV writing, job applications, and interview prep.
- Financial assistance – Grants for training, childcare, travel, and work-related costs.
- Work placements & volunteering – Gain hands-on experience in green industries.
Who Can Apply?
- A resident of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole
- Aged 18+
- Looking for work or better work
- Have the right to work in the UK
This programme provides a fantastic opportunity to build a sustainable career while receiving personalised coaching, financial support and direct access to employers in the green economy.
