Our comment on the Spring Statement
“The commitment to affordable housing development in London is a positive move by the Government, which is very welcome.
“However, the housing crisis is not unique to London. For instance, the lack of affordable housing in major regional cities such as Bristol is increasingly in the spotlight. In fact, in most areas in the country, both urban and rural, there is a continued shortage of these homes and as such the provision of affordable and social rent homes as well as alternative ownership options are going to be vital in creating a better market.”
