Update on RTS electricity meters

If your home currently uses an older Radio Teleswitch Service (RTS) electricity meter, it’s important to know that support for these meters will end on 30 June 2025.

What does this mean for you?

If you manage your own energy supply, you'll need to contact your energy supplier as soon as possible to arrange a meter replacement. Doing so will ensure your electricity supply isn't disrupted once the RTS system is discontinued.

How we're helping

If your electricity meter is managed by us, please don’t worry – we're already working on replacing all RTS meters we're responsible for. We'll make sure your energy supply remains uninterrupted throughout this transition.
