At Kingsley House you can continue enjoying living independently in a home that is uniquely yours, while living as part of a community where care and support is on hand when you need it. We provide 60 fully accessible one and two bedroomed flats and bungalows. There is care available on site which can be tailored to meet your needs, alongside our 24-hour emergency lifeline system.

Choose to be as involved with our social activities as you like, with both quiet communal areas to relax in and regular group events taking place. Kingsley House is located in the seaside town of Bournemouth which benefits from many shops, leisure and social attractions.

A home in the community

Kingsley House is in close proximity of Bournemouth high street with a wide range of shops, restaurants, supermarkets, banks, post offices, pharmacies, pubs and entertainment within walking distance. Castlepoint Shopping Centre is also only two miles away with plenty to offer.

There are excellent transport links within easy access, with Bournemouth Train station three miles away, Bournemouth airport five miles away and a close bus stop with regular busses running frequently.

There are local GP practices nearby which our team of Independent Living Officers will be happy to support you to join.

Kingsley House benefits from a range of communal services for you to enjoy, including the sitting room, library and dining room areas. Regular activities are organised including keep fit sessions, coffee mornings, karaoke and bingo, and there’s are also quiet places to enjoy relaxing in.

Outside we have a communal garden area where you can spend time in throughout the year, plus on-site parking available for both you and your guests.

There is full access to our scooter store area and two guest rooms where friends and family can stay.

Other onsite facilities include the communal laundry room.

Each flat has emergency pull cords and residents have access to an emergency pendant that notifies our on- site care team and emergency response centre
