How we hire
- Vacancies are advertised on jobsites including Indeed and Linked In
- Candidates register on the Aster careers website, complete some personal details and upload a CV to apply for a role
- Once the job advert closes, members of the interview panel shortlist candidates to select the best candidates for interview and an interview date is agreed
- Interviews are held in person or via video meeting and include questions that measure skills, values and behaviours. Work-based assessments may also be used to assess suitability, dependant on the job role.
- Following the interviews, the interview panel decide who is the most suitable candidate for the job and make a verbal offer.
- Once the job offer is accepted, the Talent Acquisition team will start the onboarding process. A conditional offer letter is sent, and we start pre-employment checks.
- The pre-employment checks include a right to work (RTW) check, references from previous employers or a character reference, a health assessment and some job roles require a disclosure and barring service (DBS) check.
- Once the pre-employment checks are satisfactorily completed, a start date is agreed, and the unconditional offer letter and contract is sent out.
- The new employee joins us and starts the induction process.
